Kensal Handling Systems has completed its first installation in Australia for a blue chip client in the Perth Metro Area.

The project included the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of single line conveyors with pneumatic brakes to replace ageing equipment.

The commercial bakery produces bread on this line at a rate of up to 8000 loaves per hour.

Slat chain was provided by Intralox, and was selected because of its ability to perform in the high temperature conditions.

The line was replaced in a tight production downtime window and was successfully completed in good time before production resumed.
